What attracted me to this was the solid shape of the head and the look of contentment.  I switched out the harness, and added something with a splash of color.  The idea here was to keep the majority of the painting muted in color, and adding touches of pure hue for impact.  Whether or not it worked would be up to the viewer.  I personally enjoy having this one around about as much as I enjoyed painting it.
