This piece was taken directly from the movie Return to Lonesome Dove.  This was the first painting I had ever attempted using the computer screen as my sole source of reference.  This to me is a challenge for two reasons.  One; I'm not able to hold my reference next to what I'm painting, which I normally do, and two; the colors are being illuminated from within, and that color needs to be translated somewhat accurately to reflective color.  This was confusing to me at times, but I got through it.  In the original screen capture, there were two riders.
