This is looking down the alley just outside my studio.  I felt the composition of long verticals and sharply converging diagonals would fit well the dimensions of a blank canvas that I had and wasn't sure what I was going to do with.  The lady in the lower right walked by me immediately after I took the reference shot, and I greeted her with a "good morning", or something to that effect.  She scowled at me with what I'm pretty sure was the one good eye, and said absolutely nothing.
